PLANNING SUBMITTED FOR FINAL PHASE OF LIVERPOOL SHOPPING PARK

M&S Confirmed as Anchor Tenant Taking New 24,500 sq ft Unit

Acting on behalf of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation, Derwent Estates has submitted a planning application for the £8 million final phase of development at Liverpool Shopping Park, marking the completion of one of the region’s most successful retail destinations.

The brand-new phase will deliver 40,000 sq ft of additional retail space, anchored by existing tenant M&S Food which is relocating to a larger 24,500 sq ft store having committed to a 15 year lease.
Once delivered, this final phase will complete the long term vision for the scheme; developing the last remaining plot and creating a continuous terrace of retail units across the entire site, which will ultimately total 277,000 sq ft.

The submission follows swiftly on the heels of the recently opened £11 million Phase 3, which saw Hollywood Bowl upgrade its existing building and welcomed several new tenants including Wingstop and Five Guys, all of which are now open and trading strongly.
