DENTAL PRACTICE UPSCALES TO NEW BOLTON HQ
Acting on behalf of the Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation, Derwent Estates has let Waters Meeting House in Bolton – an 11,008 sq ft HQ style office building – on a long-term contract with Synergy Central Management.
Operating as part of the Synergy Dental Clinic Group, Waters Meeting House will become one of the largest dental practices in the region. Synergy, having outgrown their previous premises in Bolton, will transform the building into their new central HQ housing a state-of-the-art Minor Oral Surgery unit, dental training facility, lecture hall, and a dental laboratory.
Scott Hall of Derwent Estates says: “Since marketing the building we received significant interest from a range of potential occupiers – not just traditional office tenants, which highlighted a niche in the market for those looking to occupy this modern HQ style building.”
Oliver Woodall, Associate Director at Edwards – the joint letting agents for the building alongside Fletcher CRE – adds: “This is a significant deal for the Bolton office market and one of the largest so far this year. Opportunities to acquire self-contained office buildings of this size are scarce and we are pleased to have secured a successful outcome for our client, Derwent Estates.”
Dr. Zuber Bagasi, CEO of Synergy Dental Group comments: “This move is all part of our larger plan to make Bolton into a dental hub. We’ve attracted some of the best dentists across the UK, including some of the top names from the best dental clinics in London, to come work with us as we’re the only clinic in the region offering these sorts of services. Through our work with the University of Bolton and the University Collegiate School, we’re creating pathways for young people and dental post-graduate students across the North West to become practitioners of advanced dental work. Being from Bolton myself, it’s important for me that I use Synergy to create opportunities for the people here by employing locally in both clinical and non-clinical roles, working with our education system to create pathways for young people, and giving back to my community.
